UPDATE: Motorcyclist killed in crash on Route 46 in Mount Olive Township

Authorities ID motorcyclist killed in Morris County Crash

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A motorcyclist was killed after a crash on Route 46 in Mount Olive Township on Monday afternoon, according to Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Public Information Officer Meghan Knab.

The crash between a motorcycle and a 2022 Honda took place on Route 46 eastbound near Naughright Road.

The motorcyclist, whose identity was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene, Knab said.

The driver of the Honda remained on scene, Knab said.

“This incident is an active ongoing investigation,” Knab said.

Route 46 eastbound was closed at Drakestown Road and Route 46 westbound near Naughright Road had one lane closed for the investigation.
