Authorities investigate crash involving bicyclist and pickup truck in Morris County

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit is investigating a motor vehicle crash involving a pickup truck and a bicyclist that occurred Thursday morning in Denville Township.

According to officials, the crash happened on Old Boonton Road near Bush Road at approximately 10:30 a.m. on July 17. The bicyclist was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision. The extent of the injuries has not been disclosed.

The incident remains under active investigation, and authorities stated that additional information may be released when appropriate. At this time, no further details are available.

The investigation is being conducted in coordination with the Denville Police Department and the Morris County Sheriff’s Office.
