Authorities seek public’s help in search for missing Randolph woman last seen in Dover

DOVER, N.J. (Morris County) — Law enforcement officials in Morris County are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 26-year-old Randolph woman last seen earlier this month in Dover.

Destiny Erts, described as intellectually disabled and endangered, was last seen at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 11, at the Dover Public Library, according to a joint statement released Thursday from Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, Dover Police Chief Jonathan Delaney, and Human Services Police Chief Brian Lee.

Erts is a Black female, approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing black pants, a navy blue tank top, a gray hooded cardigan, and black shoes. She was also carrying a light gray bookbag.

The Human Services Police Department and the Dover Police Department, with assistance from the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Missing Persons Unit, are actively investigating the case.

Authorities urge anyone with information on Erts’ whereabouts to contact the Human Services Police Department at 973-898-4964 or the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Missing Persons Unit On-Call Detective through the Morris County Communications Center at 973-285-2900.
