HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) — Best-selling author Rod E. Hairston will deliver the address at the 149th commencement of Centenary University during two ceremonies on Saturday, May 4, according to University President Dale Caldwell, Ed.D.
Hairston is an international authority in mindset development, peak performance training, behavioral conditioning, leadership, organizational culture, and human potential.
Hairston is the author of the highly acclaimed book, Are You Up For the Challenge? 6 Steps to Lasting Change Starting Now, Not Someday, and CEO of the National Association of Sales Professionals, Growth-U, and Trusum Visions, LLC.

Centenary University recently partnered with Hairston’s firm, Growth-U, to present a series of personal development courses that maximize individual potential, enhance mental health and mindset, and foster a dynamic personal vision.
The fully online sessions, which can be completed in 30 to 45 days, are offered through the University’s new Human Performance Center, featuring an extensive menu of courses for high school and college students, athletes, coaches, parents, veterans, and professionals.
Hairston started his training career in the United States Naval Special Warfare Command as a communicator and trainer of communications for Navy SEALs, as well as members of the Central Intelligence Agency, Drug Enforcement Administration, and other elite groups.
After 11 years of active military service, Hairston spent eight years working as a master trainer with Anthony Robbins, one of the most famous performance coaches in the world.
