Boil water advisory remains in Allamuchy after water main break
ALLAMUCHY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — A boil water advisory remains in effect for residents on the public water system in Allamuchy Township after a water main break Tuesday evening in the area of Old Farm Village, officials said.
The break was repaired Wednesday morning, but township officials said the advisory will remain in place until further notice.
Residents are advised to boil water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth and washing dishes. Officials are also asking residents to conserve water during this time.
Township officials said updates will be provided through the municipal website.
