Centenary University earns 2025 Campus Prevention Network Seal of Prevention for second consecutive year
HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — Centenary University has received the 2025 Campus Prevention Network (CPN) Seal of Prevention, an honor presented by Vector Solutions that recognizes colleges and universities demonstrating leadership in student success, campus climate, and community well-being. This marks the second consecutive year that Centenary has earned the distinction.
Each recipient of the CPN Seal of Prevention™ is recognized for creating safer campus environments through comprehensive, evidence-based digital prevention education addressing issues such as sexual assault, alcohol and drug misuse, mental health, and community building. The program establishes national standards for high-quality prevention education and implementation practices, positioning prevention as a key component of student and institutional success.
“Centenary is deeply committed to the safety and well-being of our students, including across digital platforms,” said Senior Vice President for Student Affairs and Administration Kerry Mullins. “The CPN Seal of Prevention™ recognizes the leadership across all levels of the University’s administration to develop a safe, supportive learning environment for every Centenary student.”
According to Vector Solutions, institutions earning the CPN Seal of Prevention™ average an 8.3 percent higher first-year retention rate and a 9.6 percent higher on-time four-year graduation rate than schools that have not received the recognition.
“The CPN Seal of Prevention™ recognizes schools that are not only leading the way in student wellness and success, but also demonstrating sustained, measurable impact year after year,” said Rob Buelow, general manager of education at Vector Solutions. “Vector evaluates institutions against rigorous, evidence-based prevention principles derived from over two decades of research and practice.”
