HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Centenary University will host an English as a Second Language (ESL) course this spring. The free sessions are open to members of the local community and are designed to meet the specialized needs of adults of different levels.
The courses are designed to help immigrants and other non-native English speakers develop proficiency in English.
Since its inception in 2015, Centenary’s community ESL program has assisted hundreds of participants from many countries who have a limited ability in speaking, reading, writing, or understanding English.
The Community ESL course will be offered Tuesdays from 2:00PM-3:30PM beginning April 1, 2025 in room 104 of the Harris and Betts Learning Center, the building attached to the Library.

Centenary University ofrecerá clases comunitarias de inglés como segundo idioma (ESL)
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ – Centenary University ofrecerá un curso de inglés como segundo idioma (ESL) esta primavera. Las sesiones gratuitas están abiertas a los miembros de la comunidad local y están diseñadas para satisfacer las necesidades específicas de adultos con distintos niveles de conocimiento del idioma. Estos cursos tienen como objetivo ayudar a inmigrantes y otros hablantes no nativos de inglés a mejorar su dominio del idioma.
Desde su inicio en 2015, el programa comunitario de ESL de Centenary ha apoyado a cientos de participantes de diversos países con habilidades limitadas para hablar, leer, escribir o comprender el inglés.
El curso comunitario de ESL se impartirá los martes, de 2:00 p.m. a 3:30 p.m., a partir del 1 de abril de 2025, en la sala 104 del Centro de Aprendizaje Harris y Betts (el edificio adjunto a la biblioteca). El programa consta de 10 sesiones, cuyas fechas se detallan a continuación.
