Cirque de Paris to make Rockaway debut Sept. 4–14 at Rockaway Townsquare

ROCKAWAY, N.J. (Morris County) — Cirque de Paris, presented by Anouchka Bouglione, will make its Rockaway debut at Rockaway Townsquare, 301 Mt. Hope Avenue, with performances scheduled Sept. 4–14, organizers announced.

The one-ring circus, rich in French traditions, promises 90 minutes of acrobatics, illusions, comedy and aerial stunts. Tickets are on sale now at cirquedeparis.com.

Producer Anouchka Bouglione, a seventh-generation member of France’s famed circus family, curated an ensemble of performers from across Europe for the North American shows.

“This all-new and immersive circus experience” features BMX trick riders, illusionists, aerialists, acrobats, clowns and more, according to organizers. Bouglione herself performs a hula hoop act using more than 25 spinning rings, while her husband, Reinaldo Monteiro, stages a laser performance. Their son, Noah, contributes with lighting and sound design.

Other highlights include BMX feats by Ukrainian-born Kostiantyn Tsymbal, high-flying acrobats Brandon and Jacqueline, large-scale illusions by Flashback Magic, and a comedic character by Pedro Jr.

The show runs for 10 days in Rockaway before continuing its North American tour. Performances are family-friendly, with afternoon and evening shows available.
