Congressman Kean hosts PACT Act Info Session for Veterans

STANHOPE BOROUGH, NJ (Sussex County) – Congressman Tom Kean, Jr. (NJ-07) Monday in partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs, hosted a PACT Act Info Session for Veterans.

The Sergeant First Class Heath Robinson Honoring our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics (PACT) Act of 2022 represents one of the most comprehensive pieces of veterans legislation in decades by expanding VA health care and benefits for Veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other toxic substances.

Over 30 veterans from New Jersey attended the PACT Act Info session, where the Congressman and the VA shared valuable information on how Veterans can obtain the correct care from exposure to toxic substances.

“The sacrifices made by our veterans, who selflessly dedicate their lives to protecting our liberties, truly highlight that freedom isn’t free,” Kean said. “While we can never fully repay them for protecting our freedom, we owe it to them to provide the best resources available, especially to assist them when addressing illnesses contracted during their service. I am honored and grateful to have met with over 30 veterans from New Jersey today.”

“It was a privilege to host the Congressman and VA representatives today,” said Keith Noeltner, Commander American Legion Post 278. “Everyone brought a lot of good information to the session. This information, is a big help to assist local Veterans.”
