Congressman Kean selected to serve on House Foreign Affairs Committee for the 119th Congress

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Tom Kean, Jr. (NJ-07) Wednesday was appointed to serve on the U.S. House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee for the 119th Congress.  

“I am honored to be selected to serve on the House Foreign Affairs Committee once again,” Kean said. “I am committed to fighting for policy where we stand firm in upholding American values, strengthening our alliances, and addressing international challenges together. I look forward to working with Chairman Mast and my colleagues to ensure that the United States remains a strong global leader.”

“I look forward to continuing to work closely with Tom on the House Foreign Affairs Committee,” said House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Brian Mast. “The dedication he brings day-in and day-out will be vital as Republicans on the committee get to work to ensure every State Department dollar and every diplomat authorized puts America first.”

Congressman Kean served as Chairman of the Europe Subcommittee on the House Foreign Affairs Committee in the 118th Congress.

In the 119th Congress, in addition to his service on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, he will also serve on the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
