County College of Morris opens enrollment for accelerated fall session

RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — County College of Morris (CCM), recently named the top community college in New Jersey by SmartAsset’s 2025 study of the Best Community Colleges in the U.S., is enrolling students for its Fall 2025 Late 7-week session, with classes beginning Thursday, Oct. 23.

The accelerated program allows students to earn college credits in just seven weeks compared with the traditional 15-week semester. It is designed for first-time students starting college this fall, those who missed the traditional semester start date, or anyone looking to explore a new subject area quickly and efficiently.

With nearly 100 courses available, more than half will be offered online through CCM’s Virtual Campus, giving students flexibility as they balance academics with work and personal commitments. Many courses are transferable to four-year colleges and universities, making the program an affordable option for students aiming to fast-track their education while reducing costs.

CCM touts one of the best returns on investment among community colleges. The Late 7-week session provides a pathway to learn new skills, stay on track for timely graduation, and earn credits quickly in high-demand fields.

By enrolling now, students can also prepare for CCM’s Winterim 2026 Semester. Winterim courses begin Dec. 22 and run in a condensed four-week online format. Registration opens Monday, Nov. 3.

CCM offers more than 100 academic programs, including associate degrees, industry-recognized certificates, and professional development opportunities.
