County College of Morris to host Fall Open House on Oct. 18

RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — County College of Morris will hold its Fall Open House on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering prospective students and families the chance to explore academic programs, campus life and enrollment opportunities.

Ranked the No. 1 community college in New Jersey by SmartAsset’s 2025 study of the Best Community Colleges in the U.S., CCM is nationally recognized for providing strong career pathways and transfer opportunities. More than 50,000 graduates have launched their careers through the school, officials said.

Visitors will be able to meet faculty and staff from across the college, explore more than 100 associate degree, certificate and professional programs, and tour the Randolph campus. Sessions will provide information about on-campus, hybrid and online learning formats, as well as admissions, financial aid, transfer options, veteran support and student services such as tutoring, advising and career counseling.

CCM officials also highlighted the college’s active student life, which includes more than 50 clubs, student government and Division II/III athletics.

Attendees may meet with advisors to apply and enroll in programs. Those who apply at the event will receive a free admission application waiver, saving $30. Representatives from CCM’s Center for Workforce Development will also be available for students interested in non-credit programs, which do not require an application fee.

Financial aid and funding opportunities are available for qualified students, including veterans and their families. All attendees will be entered to win a Campus Store gift card for books, supplies and CCM spirit wear.
