Daytime lane closure scheduled for I-78 toll bridge’s eastbound span Oct. 2-5

New Jersey-bound travel at the I-78 Toll Bridge is scheduled to be restricted to two travel lanes (one of three lanes closed) 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, to Thursday, Oct. 5, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

The lane closure is needed for drainage and slope protection work on the bridge’s New Jersey side, the commission said.

“Travel impacts are expected to be minor. Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution when proceeding through active work zones,” the commission said.
