Daytime lane closures scheduled on I-78 eastbound in Warren County during week of Nov. 4

WARREN COUNTY, NJ – Motorists traveling on I-78 eastbound in New Jersey can expect lane restrictions next week as security-camera-system work is set to begin, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

The highway will be reduced to two open travel lanes (one of three lanes closed) during daytime hours on Monday, Nov. 4, Wednesday, Nov. 6, Thursday, Nov. 7, and Friday, Nov. 8, the commission said.

The travel restrictions will be in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on those days at various locations throughout Phillipsburg, Alpha Borough, and Pohatcong Township. While some congestion may occur during morning commuting hours, major travel delays are not anticipated, the commission siad.

Drivers are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution when navigating through active work zones. It is important to note that these travel restrictions may change due to weather conditions, emergencies, or other factors, the commission said.
