Daytime traffic flagging possible at Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Bridge Toll-Supported Bridge through Feb. 6

FRENCHTOWN BOROUGH, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Motorists traveling across the Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Toll-Supported Bridge may encounter intermittent daytime traffic restrictions through Friday as crews complete final work on a nearly finished rehabilitation project.

Officials said flagger-controlled, alternating single-lane traffic may be in place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. through Feb. 6. The restrictions will be implemented on an as-needed basis to allow crews to complete outstanding tasks at the bridge.

Drivers are urged to reduce speeds, be prepared to stop and follow directions from flaggers when restrictions are in effect.

Officials noted that the scheduled traffic operations are subject to change due to weather conditions, emergencies or other unforeseen factors.
