Delaware Water Gap toll bridge to have single-lane travel Sept. 23 for maintenance

The Delaware Water Gap (I-80) Toll Bridge will be reduced to a single lane of travel in each direction Tuesday, Sept. 23, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced.

The travel restriction will allow Commission maintenance crews to conduct street-sweeping operations.

Motorists are advised to reduce speeds, use caution, and allow extra time to reach their destinations if they plan to travel over the bridge during the work.

The rain date for the project is Wednesday, Sept. 24.
