USPS launches new Informed Delivery mobile app to help customers manage mail and packages
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Postal Service has launched a new Informed Delivery mobile app, giving customers greater convenience in managing their mail and packages from virtually anywhere.
Informed Delivery is a free USPS service that allows users to digitally preview incoming letter-size mail and track package deliveries. Customers can now access notifications not only through email and the USPS website but also through the newly released mobile app.
The app’s key features include push notifications for updates on mail and packages, optional biometric login for added security, enhanced tracking capabilities that allow users to scan tracking numbers or barcodes, and the ability to view and manage incoming mail directly from a mobile device.
The Informed Delivery app is available for download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
