Doherty Enterprises raises nearly $247,000 for Toys for Tots through annual Applebee’s campaign
Doherty Enterprises Inc., a leading franchisee for Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar in New York City, Long Island and New Jersey, raised $246,578.26 during its 27th annual Toys for Tots campaign, the company announced.
The fundraising effort ran from Nov. 3, 2025, through Jan. 4, 2026, and involved customer participation at Doherty-operated Applebee’s locations in New Jersey and Long Island. Guests contributed through several options, including purchasing paper gift packs, rounding up their checks, and ordering select seasonal beverages, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Toys for Tots program.
Featured promotional drinks included the Mucho Jack & Jingle and the El Jimador Margarita Flight, with sales supporting the campaign.
A check presentation recognizing the funds raised was held in Linden.
Toys for Tots, a national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides toys to children in need during the holiday season.
