MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) — The driver of a box truck was injured Wednesday morning when the vehicle overturned on Interstate 80, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.
The crash occurred around 11:40 a.m. on I-80 westbound at Exit 26 in Mount Olive Township, Lebron said.
A preliminary investigation revealed that an International box truck lost directional control, veered off the right side of the roadway, struck a guiderail, and overturned, he said.
The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
