Driver injured after pickup truck strikes wall on I-80 in Morris County

ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries following a single-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 80 eastbound in Morris County, according to New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded to the scene at milepost 27.5 in Roxbury Township at approximately 2:54 p.m. A preliminary investigation revealed that a GMC pickup truck traveling eastbound lost directional control and struck a wall.

The driver was treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Authorities did not release the driver’s identity.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. No additional information was immediately available.
