Driver injured after vehicle overturns on I-80 in Morris County
MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A driver was injured Thursday after their vehicle overturned on Interstate 80 in Morris County, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron
On Oct. 10, at around 7:27 p.m., troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash on I-80 eastbound at milepost 23.7 in Mount Olive Township, Lebron said.
According to a preliminary investigation, the driver of a Nissan Rogue lost control of the vehicle, veering off the right side of the roadway and overturning into the woods, Lebron said.
The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment, Lebron said.
The crash remains under investigation, Lebron added.
