Eagle Scout project aims to link families to local resources at upcoming fair in Hackettstown
HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — A Community Resource Fair will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, from noon to 3 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 213 Main St., Hackettstown, offering local families and individuals an opportunity to connect with essential services and programs.
The fair is being organized by Victoria Johnston, a Life Scout with Troop 336 in Long Valley, as part of her Eagle Scout project in collaboration with the Lord’s Pantry of Hackettstown.
“With this fair, I am aiming to support families and individuals by connecting them with comprehensive local assistance and empower people of all backgrounds to succeed,” Johnston said.
Resource organizations from across Northwest New Jersey will host booths at the event, providing information and direct connections to services in housing, financial stability, legal aid, education, health, and more.
The event is free to attend and will also feature family-friendly activities including face painting, food, games, raffles, resource tables, arts and crafts.
