Easter Bunny train rides, egg hunts set at Delaware River Railroad in Phillipsburg

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) — Families can celebrate Easter aboard a train when Delaware River Railroad Excursions hosts its annual Easter Bunny Train Ride and Egg Hunt on March 28 and 29 and April 4 and 5.

The family-oriented event invites children and adults to take a scenic train ride along the Delaware River while participating in Easter-themed activities. Passengers will be joined by the Easter Bunny and entertainers portraying singing and juggling hobos, according to organizers.

During the excursion, the train will stop at a designated “bunny patch,” where children can take part in an egg hunt. Each child will have the opportunity to collect six eggs to take home, organizers said.

Organizers said the event is designed for families looking for a unique way to celebrate the Easter holiday, combining seasonal activities with views of the river and surrounding countryside.

Tickets are available online and at the Delaware River Railroad Excursions ticket office. Prices are $20 for adults, $14 for children ages 2 to 12, and $4 for children younger than 2.

More information and ticket purchases are available through the Delaware River Railroad Excursions website.
