Elizabethtown Gas to install new natural gas main on western side of Budd Lake

BUDD LAKE, NJ (Morris County) – Elizabethtown Gas is preparing to install a new natural gas distribution main on the western side of Budd Lake, according to Andrew Tatarenko, Township Administrator.

The project will include the installation of approximately 25,000 feet of main over a two-month period, beginning the week of June 23, 2025.

The installation will be carried out by Penn-Bower Inc., based in High Bridge, New Jersey. According to Tatarenko, this project is part of the ongoing expansion of natural gas service within Mount Olive Township.

As construction progresses, daily street closures and detours will be announced as the schedule is finalized. Roads affected will remain open to local traffic only during the work period.

  • Chickadee Road
  • Clearwater Road
  • Dogwood Drive
  • Falcon Drive
  • Hudson Road
  • Lake Shore Drive
  • Manor House Road
  • Mountain View Place
  • Myrtle Road
  • Oak Place
  • Pine Grove Road
  • Ridge Road
  • St. James Road
  • St. Johns Road
  • St. Pauls Road
  • Stonehouse Road
  • Tamarack Road
  • Toboggan Hill Road
  • Wallman Way
  • Western Drive
  • Whippoorwill Road
  • Wilstow Road
