Employees sent to hospital after accidental fire suppression discharge at Warren County 911 Communications Center

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – The Warren County Public Safety Building and 911 Communications Center in Franklin Township had an incident Thursday morning involving an accidental fire suppression discharge caused by outside contractors working on the building, according to a news release from Warren County officials.

As a precaution county employees were taken to the hospital where they were checked, cleared and released, authorities said.

A temporary 911 emergency communications was established right away using the county’s Fieldcom mobile communications vehicle in conjunction with the Phillipsburg Dispatch Center, officials said.

The communications center is expected to back up and running between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening, authorities said.
