Fatal single-vehicle crash in Hunterdon County under investigation

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A fatal single-vehicle crash in Holland Township is under investigation, according to the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office.

The crash occurred on Friday, Oct. 18, at around 10:26 p.m. on Stamets Road, officials said.

Holland Township Police and New Jersey State Police responded to the scene after the driver’s cellular phone carrier notified Hunterdon County Communications of the crash.

Scott Segreaves, Jr., 20, of Zuni, Virginia, succumbed to his injuries at the scene, authorities said.

Emergency responders included members of the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office’s Forensic Analysis Collision Team (F.A.C.T.), Holland Township Police, New Jersey State Police, and the Milford Fire Department.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing, led by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office and the Holland Township Police Department.
