Fire crews battle 2-alarm blaze in Warren County

INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) — Multiple fire departments responded to a two-alarm fire that broke out Thursday afternoon on Nykun Lane, off Alphano Road, in Independence Township.

The fire was reported shortly before 3:30 p.m. and involved burning logs, and trailers on the property.

Fire crews from Warren, Morris, and Sussex counties, along with the New Jersey Forest Fire Service, worked together to bring the blaze under control.

The cause of the fire was not immediately clear, and it is currently unknown if there were any injuries.
