Fire erupts in Sussex County barn workshop; one injured, state police say
FREDON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sussex County) — A barn workshop caught fire late Friday morning in Fredon Township, leaving one person with minor injuries, according to the New Jersey State Police.
Troopers were called at 11:44 a.m. to 56 Paulinskill Lake Road, where they arrived to find the structure fully engulfed in flames, State Police spokesman Trooper II Christopher Postorino said.
One individual sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, Postorino said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No additional information was immediately available.
