Firefighters put out early-morning Warren County house fire

FRELINGHUYSEN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — Firefighters responded to a structure fire on Bear Creek Road in Frelinghuysen Township at about 3:04 a.m. Thursday and extinguished the blaze with assistance from neighboring departments.

According to the Frelinghuysen Township Volunteer Fire Company, crews were assisted by the Allamuchy Fire Department, Green Township Fire Department and Blairstown Hose Company No. 1. Officials also offered special thanks to the Green Township fire chief.

“We are incredibly grateful to have men and women answering the call, especially at that late hour,” the fire company said.

Officials said there were no injuries and no loss of the structure.

The cause of the fire was not immediately released.
