Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill launches transition website to invite New Jersey residents to get involved

TRENTON, N.J. — Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill on Thursday announced the launch of a new gubernatorial transition website, www.nj.gov/govelect, which will serve as a temporary online hub for information about the transition process and opportunities for New Jersey residents to participate.

According to the announcement, a full transition website with expanded details and resources will be launched in the coming weeks. The current site includes a resume submission portal for individuals interested in serving in the Sherrill Administration.

“Our transition is focused on building an administration that reflects the best of New Jersey—its innovation, diversity, and deep commitment to public service,” said Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill. “Our transition is an invitation for talented and passionate people from across the state to step up and help us move New Jersey forward together.”

The online portal allows applicants to submit their resumes, share their experience, and identify areas of interest to help the transition team connect candidates with potential roles across state departments and agencies.

Once fully launched, the transition website will be regularly updated with news, announcements, and resources leading up to the inauguration.
