Greenwich Township Police and school district host second annual meet and greet for students with disabilities

GREENWICH TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — The Greenwich Township Police Department and the Greenwich Township School District hosted their second annual Meet and Greet for students with disabilities and their families on October 28, at Stewartsville Elementary School.

The event provided an opportunity for families, students, and community organizations to connect in a supportive and welcoming environment. Organizers described the evening as one filled with “smiles, learning, and meaningful community connections.”

Participants included members of the PHS Inclusion Club from the Phillipsburg School District, Kelly Milazzo from the Greenwich Autism Alliance (GAA), as well as members of the Stewartsville Volunteer Fire Company and the Greenwich Township Emergency Squad. Together, they shared resources, support, and friendship to strengthen understanding and inclusion within the community.

“Events like this truly highlight the power of collaboration and remind us how strong our community is when we work together,” the Greenwich Township Police Department said in a statement. “A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and helped make the night such a success—your presence made a real difference.”
