Hackettstown BID accepting nominations for 2026 St. Patrick’s Day Grand Marshal

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — The Hackettstown Business Improvement District (BID) is now accepting nominations for the 2026 St. Patrick’s Day Grand Marshal, an annual honor recognizing a community member who embodies local pride and spirit.

Nominations must be submitted through the online nomination form by Friday, Oct. 31, 2025.

The individual selected as Grand Marshal will participate in several community celebrations, including marching in the Hometown Holiday Parade on Dec. 5, 2025, being honored at a reception on March 6, 2026, and leading the 2026 St. Patrick’s Parade on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

Residents are encouraged to nominate a deserving candidate who has demonstrated outstanding service and dedication to the Hackettstown community.

The nomination form and criteria are available online through the Hackettstown BID website. All submissions must be received no later than Oct. 31, 2025.

Jay Edwards

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker. His hobbies include mountain climbing, snowmobiling, cooking, performing stand-up comedy and he is an avid squirrel watcher. Jay has been a guest on America’s Morning Headquarters,program on The Weather Channel, and was interviewed by Sam Champion.
