Hackettstown BID announces ‘Deck the House’ holiday decorating contest

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Show off your creativity and holiday spirit in this year’s Hackettstown “Deck the House” decorating contest!

The “Deck the House” contest, sponsored by the Hackettstown Business Improvement District, invites residents to showcase their festive outdoor holiday decorations.

The contest will cover the following areas: Willow Grove, Centenary area homes, Brook Hollow, West Valley View Ave, Main Street, Kenwood, College View, East Prospect, and the Historical District.

To participate, decorations must be displayed, and a photo or video (maximum 15 seconds) of the display should be submitted by December 14. Judging will take place the week of December 16, and the community will have a chance to vote for the People’s Choice award via Facebook.

Registration is required, and submissions can be sent to socialmedia@hackettstownbid.com by December 14.

The home with the most original and festive decorations will receive bragging rights and a lawn sign to proudly display their achievement!
