Hackettstown BID to honor businesses, community members at awards dinner

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — The Hackettstown Business Improvement District will recognize outstanding local businesses and community members at its upcoming Business Appreciation Awards Dinner.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, at 5:30 p.m. at David’s Country Inn.

This year’s honorees include Marley’s Gotham Grill as Business of the Year and Terri Rintz of Centerpoint Wellness as Business Person of the Year. Delloons Balloon Boutique will be recognized as Rookie of the Year, while Classic Ballroom Dance Studio has been named Community Partner of the Year.

Melissa Maney will receive Volunteer of the Year honors.

Special awards will also be presented to Bert Baron as Community Champion and Kelsey Walter of Greene’s Beans Cafe as Collaborator of the Year.

Jay Edwards

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker. His hobbies include mountain climbing, snowmobiling, cooking, performing stand-up comedy and he is an avid squirrel watcher. Jay has been a guest on America’s Morning Headquarters,program on The Weather Channel, and was interviewed by Sam Champion.
