Hackettstown First Aid and Rescue Squad to host ‘Egg My Yard’ Easter fundraiser

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — The Hackettstown First Aid and Rescue Squad will host its fifth annual “Egg My Yard” fundraiser ahead of Easter, offering families a festive way to celebrate while supporting emergency services.

The fundraiser allows residents to purchase pre-filled Easter eggs that will be hidden in their yards the night before Easter, April 4, between 7 p.m. and midnight. Children can then search for the eggs on Easter morning.

Participants can choose from packages of 25, 50 or 75 eggs, with proceeds supporting the squad’s operations, including training, equipment and supplies.

Each order includes a personalized letter from the Easter Bunny delivered to the child’s mailbox.

The fundraiser also features special “golden eggs,” which include additional surprises and will be hand-delivered Easter morning along with a visit from the Easter Bunny between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Organizers said the annual event helps support the volunteer squad’s ongoing needs while providing a unique holiday experience for local families.

Orders will be accepted through April 1. More information and registration details are available online.
