Hackettstown Oktoberfest kicks off this evening with beer tapping, live music

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — Oktoberfest weekend has arrived in Hackettstown, with festivities kicking off Friday evening and continuing through Sunday.

The 9th annual celebration, hosted by the Hackettstown Business Improvement District, begins tonight at 5 p.m. with the Official Kick-Off Beer Tapping at Grand Ave Tavern, alongside a live WRNJ broadcast. German food and beer flights will be served all weekend.

The night’s entertainment includes live music by the Twilight Disciples from 6 to 9 p.m. and a late-night set from VJ the DJ from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Grand Ave Tavern.

Oktoberfest continues through Sunday, Sept. 28, with family-friendly activities, music, and seasonal food and drinks across town.
