Hackettstown releases road paving, parking lot improvement schedule
HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — Hackettstown officials have announced a paving schedule for several streets and the municipal building parking lot over the coming weeks.
According to the town, Monroe Street and East Prospect Street, between Route 46 (Main Street) and Fourth Street, are scheduled for milling on June 29, with paving planned for July 6.
Fifth Street, between East Prospect Street and Hamilton Drive, and Hamilton Drive, between Fifth Street and Countryside Drive, are scheduled for milling on June 30 and paving on July 7.
The Municipal Building parking lot at 215 West Stiger St. is scheduled for milling on July 1 and paving on July 8.
Officials noted that all work dates are subject to change due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
Residents are required to remove vehicles from affected streets by 6:30 a.m. on scheduled work days. Those planning to use their vehicles during milling and paving operations are advised to move them from driveways before that time.
Road closures will be in effect in construction areas while work is underway. Access to driveways will be restored each day after barricades are removed, according to the town.
