Hackettstown’s St. Patrick’s Parade road closures, parking restrictions for Sunday
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – The Hackettstown Business Improvement District’s annual St. Patrick’s Parade in Hackettstown is set to take place on Sunday, March 9, bringing festive celebrations to the town.
The parade will begin at 3:30 p.m. and will proceed down Main Street. However, residents and visitors should be aware of temporary road closures and parking restrictions due to the event.
Road Closures:
To accommodate the parade, several streets will be closed starting at 2:30 p.m., including:
- Route 46 (Main St) between Liberty St and Warren St
- Route 517 (High St) between Main St and Franklin St
In addition, several side streets leading to the parade route will begin closing at 2:00 p.m. Police officers will be stationed along these closure areas to manage traffic and ensure the safety of all participants and spectators.
Parking Restrictions:
There will be no parking starting at 12:00 p.m. on March 9 in the following areas:
- Route 46 (Main St) between Grand Ave and Warren St
- Washington St between Church St and Valentine St
- Franklin St between Liberty St and Route 517 (High St)
- Liberty St between Route 46 (Main St) and Franklin St
- Valentine St between Route 46 (Main St) and Beatty St
- Washington St between Center St and Bells Lane
Vehicles parked in these restricted areas will be ticketed and towed, so residents are encouraged to move their vehicles before the restrictions go into effect.
Alternative Parking:
Municipal parking lots and various side streets will be available for public parking during the parade.

With the anticipated traffic delays, visitors and residents are encouraged to plan their routes in advance and allow extra time for travel. Please follow all posted signs and law enforcement directions for a safe and enjoyable parade day.
