Heroin, methamphetamine found during traffic stop in Morris County

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A man is facing drug charges following a traffic stop in Denville Township last month, according to police.

On Oct. 26, police responded to the Sunoco gas station on Route 46 after receiving a report of an individual attempting to drive a silver Porsche while seemingly impaired, police said.

Officers arrived in the area and conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing the Porsche pulling onto Route 46. An investigation followed, and the driver, later identified as 38-year-old Shekeab Shroff, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Police also found Shroff in possession of heroin and methamphetamine.

Shroff was charged with possession of narcotics, driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and operating a motor vehicle while in possession of narcotics. He was released pending a court appearance, police said.
