Home Plus Variety Discount Store opens in downtown Washington Borough

WASHINGTON BOROUGH, N.J. (Warren County) — Washington Borough officially welcomed its newest business this month with the opening of Home Plus Variety Discount Store at 33-35 E. Washington Ave. in the heart of downtown.

The shop celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 30.

Home Plus Variety Discount Store offers a wide range of products, from toys, party goods and birthday balloons to cleaning supplies, housewares, extension cords and plumbing items. Shoppers can also find kitchenware, dishes, paper goods, snacks, stationery and more.

Jay Edwards

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker.
