HUNTERDON COUNTY, N.J. — Deputy Director Shaun C. Van Doren, joined by Commissioners Jeff Kuhl and Susan J. Soloway, attended the goHunterdon Annual Meeting & Awards Breakfast on Friday, Oct. 3, at Stanton Ridge Country Club, where community leaders gathered to celebrate achievements in transportation safety, sustainability, and innovation across Hunterdon County.
The event recognized individuals, schools, and organizations for their efforts to improve mobility and quality of life for county residents. “For four decades now, the LINK has been a lifeline for so many in our community,” said Deputy Director Van Doren. “It represents Hunterdon County’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that all residents — regardless of age or circumstances — have access to dependable public transit. Congratulations to the LINK on 40 years of dedicated service.”
Operated in coordination with county government, the LINK continues to serve as a cornerstone of Hunterdon County’s investment in mobility and accessibility, especially for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those in rural areas where transit options are limited.
“Hunterdon County is proud to support and celebrate the community partners, educators, and organizations that are making a meaningful impact on public safety and transportation,” Van Doren added. “The LINK is a clear example of how targeted public investment directly improves quality of life and builds stronger, more connected communities.”
