Hunterdon County dental office closes temporarily after fire
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) -A Hunterdon County dental practice temporarily closed after a fire Friday night.
The fire took place on Aug. 11, at around 10:59 p.m., at the Round Valley Dentistry office, located at 87 Beaver Avenue, in Clinton Township, authorities said.
Upon arrival of firefighters, smoke was found pushing from a second floor window and the incident was quickly upgraded to a level 3 building fire. The crew then laddered the building and made entry through a second floor window to extinguish the fire, according to a post on the Township of Clinton Division of Fire’s Facebook page.
The fire was then brought under control and units performed overhaul operations. Forty-two members operated on scene.
“We appreciate your patience while we attend to repairs. We expect that the office will be closed for 1-2 weeks. During this time, we will have the ability to see emergency patients at an alternative site. Our Email and Phone systems will still be monitored for contacts, so please feel free to reach out to us,” according to a post on the Round Valley Dentistry’s Facebook page.
“And a heartfelt “Thank You” to the first responders from Clinton TWP, Annandale, Lebanon, and Quakertown!,” the post said.
The Clinton Township Bureau of Fire Safety is investigating the cause of the fire.
