Hunterdon County man arrested for manufacturing child pornography, endangering the welfare of children
BLOOMSBURY, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Hunterdon County man has been arrested for allegedly manufacturing child pornography and endangering the welfare of children, according to Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson.
Seth Maguire, 27, of Bloomsbury was taken into custody on June 21, with the assistance of the Paterson Police Department and charged with first-degree endangering the welfare of children (Directing Child Sexual Abuse Material), second-degree endangering the welfare of children (Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material), and two counts of third-degree endangering the welfare of children (Sexual Conduct with a Child).
A cyber tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (“NCMEC”) led to an investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office’s Forensic Services Unit that resulted in the arrest, Robeson said.
Maguire is lodged at the Warren County Jail. There is a pending pretrial detention motion scheduled for July 9, Robeson said.
