Hunterdon County man arrested for obstruction of justice, resisting arrest

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Hunterdon County man is facing multiple charges, including obstruction of justice and resisting arrest in Clinton Township, according to Clinton Township Police Chief Thomas DeRosa.

On February 7, an officer on routine patrol observed a black Mercedes Benz without a front license plate entering a development in an unsafe manner. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, DeRosa said.

The driver, Joseph J. Freedman, 42, of Glen Gardner, allegedly failed to stop, parked the vehicle, and entered a residence. He emerged a short time later and was arrested, DeRosa said.

Freedman was charged with obstruction of justice, resisting arrest by flight, careless driving, and unclear plates. He was released pending a court appearance, DeRosa said.
