Hunterdon County police seek identity of cyclist reportedly riding trails without clothing
READINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who has reportedly been riding an electric bicycle on township trails without clothing.
The Readington Township Police Department said it has received sporadic reports over the past several years of the same man riding an e-bike on local trails while wearing what police jokingly described as “considerably less safety equipment than we would recommend.”
Police said the cyclist was spotted again Friday, Sept. 4, and authorities were able to obtain a photograph
Authorities are now seeking to identify the man and are asking anyone who recognizes him or has information that could assist investigators to contact the Readington Township Police Department.
“And as a friendly reminder: helmets are strongly encouraged. Pants are even more strongly encouraged,” police said.
