Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office hires new detective

FLEMINGTON, NJ (Hunterdon County) – The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office has hired a new detective trainee who was sworn into his position on Sept. 5.

Detective Trainee Vincent Gambardella was sworn in by Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson before HCPO staff. He is currently assigned to the Criminal Investigations Unit. Prior to joining HCPO, he was a student at Neumann University and graduated in the spring of 2023.

In the summer of 2022, Detective Trainee Gambardella interned for the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office. He will begin his training at the Sea Girt DCJ Academy in January 2024.

Jay Edwards

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker. His hobbies include mountain climbing, snowmobiling, cooking, performing stand-up comedy and he is an avid squirrel watcher. Jay has been a guest on America’s Morning Headquarters,program on The Weather Channel, and was interviewed by Sam Champion.
