Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office swears in new detective

FLEMINGTON, NJ (Hunterdon County) – The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office (HCPO) has hired a new detective who was sworn into his position on Monday, Nov. 13, according to Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson.

Detective Matthew Milone was sworn in by Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson before family, Chief of Detectives Timothy Drew, and the staff of the HCPO.

Prior to joining HCPO, Detective Milone was a Police Officer with the Tewksbury Township Police Department where he had served in the Patrol Division.

Detective Milone attended the Morris County Fire and Police Training Academy and is a graduate of Rutgers University.

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker. His hobbies include mountain climbing, snowmobiling, cooking, performing stand-up comedy and he is an avid squirrel watcher. Jay has been a guest on America’s Morning Headquarters,program on The Weather Channel, and was interviewed by Sam Champion.
