Hunterdon Health Foundation awards scholarships to 29 students pursuing healthcare careers

RARITAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — The Hunterdon Health Foundation has awarded scholarships to 29 students and healthcare professionals pursuing careers in nursing and other healthcare fields through its annual scholarship program.

The scholarships were awarded through several Hunterdon Health Foundation programs that support education and training for future healthcare professionals.

Recipients of the 2026 scholarships are:

  • Tess Cathey-Jordan, Lambertville
  • John Jackson Christian, Lebanon
  • Jacqueline Cunningham, Annandale
  • Mia Cutarelli, Clinton
  • Laura Everitt, Alpha
  • Lauren Ava Fischer, Whitehouse Station
  • Maura Catherine Green, Annandale
  • Diana Kasper, Flemington
  • Camee Lee, Oxford
  • Lindsay Levitas, Washington
  • Odin Llull, Lebanon

In addition, Erin Bandurick of New Hope received the Patricia M. Psenisky Nursing Scholarship.

The scholarship awards were funded through the Millie E. Apgar Educational Scholarship for Health Professionals, Albert Kahn and Mary Kahn, R.N. Educational Scholarship, ERS Charitable Fund Scholarship, Gladys Benfield Watkinson Scholarship for Nursing Education, Rose Zander Angell Scholarship for Nursing Education, Virginia Butkosky Memorial Scholarship for Nursing and the Patricia M. Psenisky Nursing Scholarship.

Jay Edwards

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker. His hobbies include mountain climbing, snowmobiling, cooking, performing stand-up comedy and he is an avid squirrel watcher. Jay has been a guest on America’s Morning Headquarters,program on The Weather Channel, and was interviewed by Sam Champion.
