International Day and Maifest to be held in Hackettstown this Saturday

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Come support your local artist, crafters, shops, eateries and beer brewers during the 2024 Hackettstown Maifest & International Day celebration on Saturday, May 18 (Rain date: Sunday, May 19) from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The festival will take place on Valentine Street and Grand Avenue in Hackettstown. Free to enter.

“This is a family friendly event with an assortment of live entertainment, activities, cuisine and craft beers,” Hackettstown Business Improvement District Executive Director Laurie Rapisardi said.

Enjoy browsing an array of local artist’s work. business specials and vendors by the Marketspace. Vendors will be selling crafts, clothing and international wares. Food vendors will be selling international foods as well as family favorites.

Schedule of Events:

  • A Kids Corner with a rock-climbing wall and kid friendly vendors to include face painting etc.
  • Live bands roaming all day: Mariachi Oro de Mexico Band, Peter and the Wolfgang (Oompah Band), Rory O’Moore Irish Bagpipes and Drums, Kudos Barbershop Quartet and the Big Easy Mardi Gras Band
  • Roff Roofing– Ribbon cutting and a re-grand opening at 12 pm
  • Czig Meister Brewing Company-Beer tapping at at 12:30pm. Maypole dancers from NJ Civic Youth Ballet at 3 pm.
  • Grand Avenue Tavern-International Beer Festival
  • Man Skirt Brewing: Beer Tapping at 12:15 pm. Special beer release-H-Town Helles Maibock
  • Demonstrations by Classic Ballroom: 12:00 Salsa, 12:15 Bachata, 12:30 Merengue, 12:45 Rumba, 1:00 Cha Cha, 1:15 Samba Line Dance, 1:30 Salsa, 1:45 Bachata, 2:00 Merengue, 2:15 Rumba, 2:30 Cha Cha, 2:45 Samba Line Dance.
