Jeep driver injured in crash with school bus on Route 519 in Warren County, state police say

WHITE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — A Jeep driver was injured in a crash with a school bus at an intersection in White Township Saturday afternoon, according to New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded to the crash at about 4:01 p.m. at the intersection of Route 519 and Titman Road, according to State Police spokesman Trooper II Christopher Postorino.

Based on a preliminary investigation, the driver of a Jeep SUV failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and traveled into the path of a Blue Bird school bus, which struck the Jeep.

The driver of the Jeep sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital, Postorino said. No other injuries were reported at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.
